If the ref was doing the right thing by the time Matic got up the ref would have at least blown his whistle and be working towards it. Matic reacted that way because the ref has been turning blind eye to everything in the game so he exploded because he didn't believe the authority which is the ref.

Terrible tackle. Barnes should've seen a red. After witnessing too many of these type of tackles ruin Arsenal players (Diaby, Eduardo, Ramsey), I'm glad Matic only came out with a red. Barnes foot placement is not that of a player trying to clear the ball. Absolutely inexcusable.

Well THIS Arsenal fan would not take top 4 over a CL final, and neither would most of us. One fan does not represent all fans.
As to the point here, I dont blame Matic given the circumstances, and if the ref had been brandishing the red for the horror tackle instantly it might not have happened.
As a neutral I will admit Chelsea are getting some cráp from the FA this season. It's what they do.
I just hope Barnes gets dealt with for this, but like Rooney and his dives etc, the FA will turn a blind eye probably.

As for the penalties not given, that's life. It happens to everyone.

If there really is a campaign against Chelsea, which i believe is nonsense...then perhaps your manager should be a lot more respectful and win/lose with dignity.
