Went on a coach to watch up thrash them in the FA cup, must have been a decade ago. As we left the stadium they were hurling stones, bottles, whatever they could find at the coach.

Southampton on the whole is pretty grim. I went to uni there and had an amazing time and never saw one bit of trouble in 3 years. Like most bigger areas, there are some places that are fine and others that are awful.

I go to Southampton a lot, Lloyd's Register look after some of our vessels and they have a technology centre there.

I have always found the city dull and boring but there is some nice póontang available

This was the game.

When we all went to Southampton for the last game of the season last year, instead of staying in Southampton for the weekend, we had our jolly up in Bournemouth instead. Great little seaside town.

My best friend in school lives in Bournemouth, you're right, good for a beer.

Where me and Rob grew up. Lovely beach, not much else though.

Lived in London for a few years. Mostly hated it.

I've lived in Southampton for the past 3 years due to uni and I'd have to agree that parts of it are pretty shoddy. Especially as you get deeper into the area in which Immigration Street was set. However, I live about 10 minutes walk from Derby Road and my area isn't so bad - although it is mostly students.
It did seem that the only reason people were complaining about the show was that they believed the term 'immigrant' was automatically derogatory, which made no sense to me.

Idiots.

The large majority of Southampton is a massive cultural mixing pot. Nobody was using the term 'immigrant' as an insulting term until some halfwits decided it was. This was the perfect opportunity for them to portray immigration in a positive light as shown by the many interviews with people from the interview that all stated it was a positive thing! Instead it got ruined by a group of morons who are incapable of using a dictionary.
