Understandably a lot of criticism has landed and Mr Wenger's door following last night's debacle, but I do find it slightly odd that overall Steve Bould, as a defensive coach, seems to get off relatively lightly by comparison.
I have to wonder what he actually brings to the team, especially at times when things start to go wrong on the pitch. I've noticed before he sort of just sits there impassively, not shouting out instructions to the players on the pitch or rarely offering advice to Wenger, exactly like last night which was crying out for someone to get a grip defensively (yes they should have been able to have worked it out for themselves on the pitch), especially after we pulled the goal back.

Steve Bould took most of the early training sessions last season when with flying the papers saying how good we was looking as a defensive unit then Wenger took over them again and look what happened.
Steve has been in control of one weeks training sessions this year guess which game it was before the city one Wenger was in Switzerland picking up some freebies. Also Francis first six games played in a box about 30 m x 40 m and did not leave that area in the last game or two he started to get more forward and leave bigger gaps behind him someone needs to tell him he's there to do the basics and not get carried away with arsenals style of play.
