Perriera isn't a winger, he's a left-back who can play in left-midfield. I'm genuinely not sure why he's chasing Perriera, he must see something in himwe all don't if he's willing to pay his release clause

left wing back= left full back or left wing

No it's not, otherwise you would see Cole, bosingwa, Dani Alves etc. playing at right-midfield when their team is short on injuries

Perreira is a left wing back because he can and does plays both left full back and left wing. Zirkov is a left wing back as well.

Alves, cole etc are full backs. they dont play as wingers even though part of their games these days involves overlapping on a frequent bases

Sorry you must use different terms to me as I though full-backs and wing-backs are the same. And Periera can't play LW like Zhirkov can but he can play LM. He's never played LW though.

Pereira is being pursued to replace Ashely Cole in the starting XI. Sounds crazy right? Not really. AVB has had ample time now to see our lack of fluency and has realized as I have that Ashley Cole's lack of ball skills are a big reason behind it. Pereira maybe offers a bit more in that regard. Maybe.

Cole is better than perriera.Persoanlly I would prefer to use Bertrand who's a ready made, homegrown and experienced replacement...I dunno

It's obvious isn't it - Bertrand must be worth a try. £30m still in the bank, homegrown. It's so simple - I can't understand why you're not the manager.

Is periera better than Cole? My concentration has been slipping - I've not noticed if Cashley is in serious decline

on the manager. To much pressure!

But like I said AVB must really see something in Perriera that the majority of us don't
