Apparently people who imagine the dress being lit by natural light (i.e through windows) perceive it as white and gold.
Those who imagine it being lit artificially (light bulbs, torches) see it as black and blue.

But I don't imagine it as anything.
My resolutely logical brain only allows me to see what is there, which is an insipid lilac and a murky brown.
