This guy has signed on loan from Sheff Utd. Does anyone know anything about him?
A Belgian midfielder from their golden era judging by his age (22). When he left Portsmouth where he was a youth player (cash shortage) he went to Stoke (having had offers from Man City, Spurs and Fulham). A reserves regular he didn't play for the Stoke first team and went out on loan to Walsall and Peterborough.
Signed by Sheff Utd he played 10 games and went out on loan to Port Vale and got seriously injured 36 minutes in to his debut.
He has played many games at Belgium U16-U21 level.
He has obviously got a lot of talent and potential. The snag is that he has played only a dozen league games in 3 years. He will either be;
- a footballing genius who adapts immediately;
- a player who never gets going / match fit in the limited time available to him, or;
- just a squad player.
I don't suppose you are going to be able to get anyone who is match fit on loan at this stage of the season. Match fit players feature in the current plans of clubs and aren't available.
Here's hopng he is a football genius who will be able to create numerous chances for our strikers.

Ok, so he appears as a substitute with 7 minutes to go and scores a vital winner in the final minute of the game to put us top of the table and earns us 2 points that might be crucial in securing automatic promotion.
Does he do anything else?
