But like when Celtic signed Robbie Keane, fans are euphoric the day before a match and then the next day the team lets them down.
Hopefully the chat of not changing manager before the end of the season is now reviewed.
Saying that the talk of promotion not being essential is refreshing as I think we would benefit from a season of stability in this division which would make us better prepared for a return to the top league.
We've got a long way to go.
