Having read Albion fans' boasting all week, I was convinced they would do the double over Villa. They were trumpeting the prospect of European football and reaffirming amongst themselves the fact that they are now the bigger club.
Ignore the false humility on here and check their babble forum.

I am also impressed with the humility being shown by the bold majority of Villa fans who are condemning the silly actions of a tiny minority who allowed their emotions to get the better of them.
It is naughty to run on the pitch during a game - happened at Wolves a few times and we decent folk reacted in like manner to our counterparts from Aston.
However, it is with heaviness of heart that I must report a sickening wall of silence from salt of the earth West Brom fans concerning the gross behaviour of their own minority. Yes, seats were ripped out and hurled into the enclosure below - where women and children were cowering for their very safety - but not a peep from Albion.
Not a bloody peep.

Well done to Villa on both occasions last week. Shame about the idiots (from both clubs) who did their best to ruin the day. However, why on earth was the game scheduled for a 5.30pm Saturday kick off? And why did the powers that be think it would be prudent to sit Albion fans above Villa fans?
As for UH's poor attempts at wumming, you might want to check out my previous comments in the run up to both games. Also, how's that poor Watford fan doing?

Totally agree cox. I have never seen so many fans tanked up.
WBA missed there chances first half & Villa improved in the second half.
Great atmosphere inside the ground, shame about the idiots.

What a disgrace! I'm outraged! Savage tweets "There's no invasion like a pitch invasion". The BBC are navel staring hypocites.
