Don't know what anybody else thinks but I'm sick of the shiite that Lawrenson comes out with.
Today.

No, it wasn't a dive you idiot, there was enough contact to cause an overeaching player to stumble. Also, it wasn't a penalty because Studge had lost control of the ball and was never going to reach it.

Balotelli is nowhere near as lazy as he was when he came. He really does seem to be making a lot more of an effort and needs a bit more time to get into a pressing game. He was fouled no end yesterday, dragged over in the box by his shirt and he never once sulked or lost his cool.
I just wish Lawro would just keep his gob shut and concentrate on trying to get one or two of his predictions right.
Good footballer but cr@p pundit

Balotelli got 30 minutes yesterday....Coutinho, Sterling and Sturridge had 90....but where's his criticism of them?

Awful pundit and commentator

I'm not sure why some of the football world still seems to be fooled by Balotelli and his 'potential'.

Don't think anyone is saying he has 'potential'. Even most Liverpool fans would agree that he has no future with them but yet he still seems to be made the scapegoat for all bad Liverpool performances which is unfair.

It's a fair point. The whole "He has quality, that's undeniable" thing is odd too. When was the last time he actually showed it? He scored a couple good goals for Milan and City and has played well for the national team on occassion.
I'm not writing him off, and his work ethic has been better, but his undoubted quality seems somewhat of a self-perpetuating myth.

Yeah this, when we bought him we understood that he would be lazy at times, but his quality as a footballer would balance it out somewhat. We have seen none of that quality he showed at City and Milan.

Liverpool news: Mario Balotelli agent says striker has never been asked to run before

He's made a scapegoat because the likes of Sturridge and Coutinho come up with the goods more often than not if the team has been playing poorly, you can't begrudge them an off day.
Coutinho has been critisised in the past for being inconsistent, but he's upped his game.
When does Balotelli do this? He simply can't be bothered.
