On to this weekend...

Big day for the teams towards the bottom of the Premier League this Saturday.

Palace v QPR
Leicester v Hull
Sunderland v Villa
Albion v Stoke

Thought i'd open this up and see if anyone can predict the outcome of all 4 games rather than just their own.

Get your thinking caps on!

And Mark Hughes goes away with his tail between his legs. Should have been at least 2-0 and possibly 3-0.

Fine performance especially after recent disappointments. Thought Sessignon and Morrison had some good moments but every player did well.
Second "goal" looked good to me, Begovic appeared to be fairly dispossessed by Ideye and I did not understand the flag. Still MOTD will sort that out.
All but makes us safe in the Prem in my opinion.

Burnley's win tonight means no one can quite take their foot off the pedal, but our fate is definitely in our own hands with successive home games against QPR and Leicester coming up. Win those and all is good.

Good win.

I reckon the Baggies need another 4 points to be safe.

TP's PL record since taking over is looking better with each game.
Played 10 Won 4 Drawn 4 Lost 2 GD +1 Points 16.
We were also four points behind Villa and now we're five points ahead of them.

Comfortable win in the end.

Fletcher and Morrison ran the show in midfield today. Sess also lively. Sess/Berahino/Ideye had to be the template now. No coincidence our best performances are when the 3 of them are playing together.

Home performances for the most part have been good. Just wish we would take the same intent away from home

Oh and so much for hijacking the 'Pride of the Midlands' song, thought Stoke were poor and remain as cynical as ever. Nice to see them heading back from their cup final empty handed for once.

Bunch of fcking biscuit munchers

I've defended Berahino quite a bit over the last 12 months even through a lot of his stupidity. He's the best player to come out of our youth system certainly in my lifetime and he does get hung out to dry a bit. (I'm thinking especially of 'Cardiff-gate' when no-one really mentioned the 5 players who were out of position who ran up to join him).

He does seem to have screwed his head on recently though and I think it shows the way the fans are taking to him.

I hope he has the sense to stay another 12 months and continue his development.

Alouion, had a look at the off-side rules and it seems the linesman was right....

GAINING AN ADVANTAGE: If the ball is played into the penalty area and he plays the ball that rebounds to him off a post, crossbar or an opposing defender, then the attacker is offside as they have gained an advantage by being in that position.
