Austin,Ings,or Berahino

Evening Gents

Charlie Austin
Danny Ings
Saido Berahino

I would assume, that we will be attempting to buy at least one of the above players in the summer.

Providing we can offload Soldado & Adebayor of course..

So,out of the three, who would you like to see signing for us..
Who has the most potential, ability & work rate to fit into our system?

Charlie Austin has a cracking shot on him & a great team & work ethic..I would assume he will leave QPR in the likelihood they get relegated..

Danny Ings seems to be chased by all the top teams at the moment, but in my opinion he would be just a squad player for Man city,Utd,Liverpool etc..

Again,he is a good finisher, works hard etc..He would be more than likely to start for us,with Kane playing just off of him..

Saido Berahino is another good finisher & has bags of pace & potential..but,a questionable attitude..

So guys, what are your thoughts on the above,is there anyone else you think we are likely to or should sign?

Austin > Ings > Berahino

( rather we get better than all 3 )

Same!

So often, we get linked with various players and particularly in the case of strikers get carried along by a slightly better than mediocre record at a small club.

I do wish that fans would take into account that players at struggling clubs do not get the same attention from defenders as those at a higher level. Strikers are free to nab the odd goal more than they would when playing for a high flying team.

Wilfred Bony has already started to ask for time to adjust at City. He shouldn't worry too much, he was only bought to compliment the home grown requirement rules.

Ings, Austin, Berahino in that order.

Yes we might find better on the continent but i would prefer tried and tested in this league.

All three of those English strikers are talented, Hungry and young which fits into our blueprint under Poch.

I would agree with this, Soldado was scoring for fun in Spain. Better to go with a striker proven in this league than taking a punt on another Carlos Kickaball who may fail to adjust.

I want better but wanna keep Kane up top and not have a reserve striker.

For me summer is about signing
DM - Rabiot (who was great against Chelsea) on loan
CD - Alderweild ?? or better
AM - Depay (fingers crossed)
ST - ???????

Sell:
Capoue

I like Austin. Great attitude, nothing has been handed to him on a plate. Not just your typical target man either, he seems to have a bit of finesse to his game.

Ideally I'd see us getting a strong and quick forward in, and having a younger player playing third choice, if it's Europa again. From what LLM says we don't really have anyone to do that though...

I'm not sure about Berahino, there has been lots of talk about attitude.Obviously we don't know him, he may be sound as a pound. Talent is there though.

Ings I haven't seen enough of.

If it's two we get in, one would have to be a little versatile - able to play up front or one of the wide positions of needed

How I remember you all over the moon with the signing of Adebayor, I never wanted him.

If no injuries between now and end of season, we will see more of how the Kane/Berahino partnership does in the summer.

If Berahino goes ballistic, Spurs will get outbid.
If the partnership does well, Spurs may have some leverage ( "how would you like to continue the Kane partnership at club level etc" ) .

Austin I also assume would result in Spurs being outbid.

At last, someone who is singing on the same hymn sheet as me. I was mocked over and over for having this view when Soldado was firing blanks but certain players suit certain leagues - its just the way it is sometimes, and Soldado has proved he isn't suited to the Prem.

I'd go with Austin.
