You may have unearthed an amazing talent in Justin Tipuric. You also have JT, Ryan Jones, some younger talent in Tom Smith and the young Morgan Allen in the backrow. Then you go and sign Joe Bearman. And George Stowers. And Chauncey O'Toole. Is there anyone else?
Ok, I accept this is a world cup year, so you may want a bit of cover, but what message does this say to Justin Tipuric, and the likes of Morgan Allen, who are looking to break into the regular XV? No matter how ambitious you are, if a club goes and buys three experienced internationals/international standard (I rate Bearman like that) players who play in your position, I'd be starting to think do they rate me at all? Should I be playing somewhere else?
This smacks of the move in 2007 (or thereabouts) when they bought every internationally capped lock in the country. If you're not using the players on a regular basis, they'll get miffed and move off, and their career is no better for it. You're just wasting money and diluting your squad with players who will have no impact on your season (if they stay that long...).

Why I'm disappointed with the Ospreys

They've done this for years. Prime example being them not playing hook at 10 and instead playing the very average dan biggar.
If tipuric wants to become the best player he can then he should get out of there straight away. I bet if Sam Warburton was at the ospreys he wouldn't have progressed the same way he has done at the blues, he would probably have been warming the bench for the past few years.
