Well, this one is the proverbial six pointer as both teams are sat on 50 points. This week we lost Uche Ikpeazu who called PD and said he was disappointed at his lack of playing time. He wanted to go back and has since re-signed with Crewe until the end of the season.
PD was glad to let him go as he only wants people who are prepared to fight for the shirt. With this in mind he has moved to bring in Jonson Clarke-Harris from Rotherham until the end of the season. He is fully fit and raring to go. He also numbers Peterborough as one of his former teams and actually scored for Oldham against us earlier in the season.
Let's hope we get the result we want in front of what looks to be the largest home crowd of the season.

Washington 2-0 to Peterborough. Why do we keep doing this at home?

Big difference between winnable and winning.

I was wrong the last time when I thought that three big chaps up front and zero width was going to end badly, but this time it did. True, we made chances, and their goalie had a blinder plus some help with clearances off the line but overall, and particularly in the second, half it was the old tentative, over-complicating disjointed Rovers. No-one seems to have a clue where anyone was or where they might be in time to receive the ball. You have to wonder about coaching when it is as bad as that. It is also difficult to overstate how much we miss Copps and Keegs. Time for a tactical re-think until they come back?

To start with 3 "strikers" at any level you have to be very confident.
In retrospect I Believe the confidence was miss placed.
As we have always done better playing 4 5 1 why panic and go for brokeg
Butler mom for me by a country mile.
Wellens for many weeks has been very professional and just done enough to catch the eye.
Today he was caught out.
Good player no doubt but can't play ever game for me lethargic and past his sell by date.
They deserved the victory. To a man they worked their socks off.
