Can't wait to see the back of this dull season. It is has been too frustrating, unstable results, lack of goals. Still think we should have brought Becchio and Beckford back and send that Morison into orbit !!

Morison needs to be leading the line with ant working as his foil. He just needs somebody to work with and an abundance of goals will follow.

Problem is the goals are too often at the wrong end when we play with two strikers

The funny thing is it ain't his fault, ok, striker, he should score goals, but come on, have we really got a top goal scorer?..
Mowat has been our main supply the last lot of games!..
The player's we have in another team could be banging them in for fun, but hey, those other teams have player's that tear our sides open week in week out!..
Player's brought in ain't to assed where they play as long as they get a game, I think if we had a wing man or two they'd be just as happy about us falling out with each other as the player's we now have are!.
I've said before, it ain't the player's we have that are at fault, its the player's we don't have!.

Fact is, this is the first season in 8 or 9 we haven't had a prolific striker. As a matter of urgency, we need one for next season.

Apart from his first two seasons at Millwall he's not hit double figures in a season in professional football. One of those Millwall seasons was in the third tier.
Strikers are paid to score goals. It's not difficult. Even the Head Coach has alluded to this. If not, why does everyone say he needs a goal.
Whenever I watch him I've noticed he chooses when to chase and he rarely jumps to head a ball. Not classic attributes of a proven frontman. My Canary-following colleague said he was lazy at Norwich.
Just because I don't rate him doesn't necessarily mean I hate him, such a childish notion. He's simply not good enough. I'll stick my neck out and say Matt Smith would've been a better option.

I didn't lose anything Luvr, it was a valid point. Becchio scores goals but cant hold the ball up, Morison can hold the ball up but isn't scoring.
We need someone who can do both, like someone mentioned earlier, a Troy Deeney or Chris Martin type.

To the OP, what were your expectations of this season?
And also Beckford & Becchio? Come on man, Becchio has player about 15 games in 2 or 3 years and scored 2 goals....1 of which the keeper kicked at him while he was walking away....apart from you liking him when he was here, what are you basing your opinion on him being the right man for us on?
Beckford the same, not scoring even a quarter of the goals he used to for us, has about 15 in 2 years (7 1/2 per season on average)
We have plenty of 7 goal a season strikers already and I think we need better.
Beckford & Becchio have been and gone, and people need to get their heads around that. They are older and slower and less prolific than when they played for us in League 1.

I agree totally, I just think it would be nice to find a couple players with their knack for scoring goals at the time they were with us.

Eric Players who score goals like they did - Perfect.
Unfortunately, they aren't those players anymore, as much as we would love them to be.

I never said they were. I wouldn't have either back now.
