Next Season

Inevitably after the disappointment today attention has to turn to next season. I think we'll need a minimum 22 points from our last 9 to have a chance and that in itself is gonna be tough. Important to remember that this has been a transitional season that has seen improvement (not necessarily point wise) and and some very good moments. Just a shame that we don't have anything to show for it, league cup would have been nice!
Anyway there's hope for next season without a doubt but our improvement will mean nothing if we don't do the rights things in the transfer window. It's time for Pochettino to be ruthless and for Mitchell to work his magic. 6 or 7 have to go and we already have players to come in next season, Alli, yedlin and pritchard. But we also need to sign some quality players to support the likes of eriksen and kane even if that may be difficult without champions league football to offer. We certainly need a striker, centre back, centre mid (depending on how good alli is) and winger and not 'cheap options' like stambouli. Finally I hope vertonghen stays despite his mistakes but it is crucial we keep lloris. Not only is he a reliable, top quality keeper but also a proven leader and should be our club captain next season if he stays.
