Dundee United 0 v 2 Celtic

First off, I would like to reiterate Ivan's post yesterday about everyone joining in on the 3rd minute applause

The game itself wasn't the greatest spectacle and I don't think we really showed our attacking flair until United went down to 10 men, that said we were deserved winners and I don't think anyone would argue with that.

I watched the highlights back last night and for me I must admit Scott Brown was lucky, I don't think it's a stonewall penalty but you certainly see them given sometimes so we got off with one there

The red card is a red all day, not much needed to be said really, I knew at the time as it was right in front of me.

Our pen was a penalty, Dixon was unlucky, he just seemed to get wrong side and then fell onto Forrest but the game was finished by then anyway and thankfully the miss didn't cost us.

Man of the match for me was probably Johansen but he just shaded it over Bitton who although didn't look 100% fit, still showed why he's a class act in the middle of the park, the boy could keep hold of a beachball in a hurricane

It's a great start to the final few weeks of the season, to win the first trophy available with a record of:

Onto Wednesday now and we must ensure we don't let this great start be ruined so quickly, if we get the victory then I really can't see past us for the treble.
