Is Amir Khan a British great ??

Paulie goes on to win a title.................Maidana goes on to win a title...Alexander and Judah both World level fighters....Mcloskey was the European champion....

Chuck in two world titles and I think he more than makes the criteria...

Yep.

I don't really consider Marquez a top dog anymore anyway, I think he's finished

I'd like to see Brook fight Thurman, Bradley, Khan or the Pac vs Floyd winner

The Bradley fight would only sell in England, more specifically Sheffield if what is written on here is true that he is unknown outside of that city.

Thurman would more likely fight anyone...but where does that fight sell? The Americans don't think Thurman is PPV worthy, and the UK don't think Brook is?!?!

Khan uses pulling power excuse, like he's a god...only very poor fighters have not wobbled his bobble head in the past...even some poor fighters have.

Floyd has no interest in Kell Brook for potentially his last fight ever.

And Pac would probably fight anyone.

For me I think the Khan fight at Wembley is the only realistic one, and that's if Khan doesn't act like he's the Sugar Ray Bruce Lee Mayweather Ali of boxing.

Full credit to Kel for going to someone backyard and winning world title.

Fair enough his first fight against a pretty poor number one contender is acceptable but I hope he thinks big and looks to fight the best. He's talking about Marquez and Paulie of late who are way past it.

He needs to chase the current crop.

I'm not a business man, I want to see the best fights. I don't care if Thurman and Bradley aren't huge names, they're class fighters and I want to see Brook mix it up with those guys, I don't care about the business side. Brook hasn't done enough in boxing to be cherry-picking only big money fights, he needs to be fighting whoever the **** is put in front of him.

But yes, Khan at Wembley is the best fight for everyone, I'd be there for sure.

JL, I totally agree. It's not very often the fans get what the fans want though was my point.

I'd love for the top boys to fight the top boys continually...fight after fight.

The UFC is the perfect blueprint of how it should be done.

1 belt per division, means 1 champion per division, meaning the best have to fight the best fight after fight...and only do catchweight for cross division superfights.

Too late for common sense now though unfortunately.

Canelo/Cotto/Golovkin the same
Frampton/Santa Cruz/Quigg/Rigo the same
Kovalev/Stevenson the same

Politics & money is more important that what the fans want unfortunately.

Will Khan fight Brook though? Doesn't seem likely for whatever reason.
