Quick Q. I have the first model of the ps3
4 usb ports, sd card reader, and backwards compatible for ps2 games.
Is it worth holding onto it?

Lefty, I still have my PS3 (not the fat model) I use it upstairs for Blu-Ray and internet and the free games on offer with PS+.
The only thing I would say is the fat model had a much higher failure rate than the newer models, but it did as you point out offer a lot for the money

Amiga - Thanks
It was a limited edition model. Even the FAT models after this one did not have a sd card reader, only 2 usb ports and they were not backwards compatible. I thought it may be worth holding onto it. It has had the YLOD . but I got that fixed.
