Messi imo is at his career best right now (who'd have guessed a year ago?), and for the first time I'd say it's Maradona level.

The main difference I see between the two is that while over the best part of a decade Maradona often put in performances like these, he would also fail to turn up quite often. Messi's been far more consistent throughout his career, but despite all the goals he's scored I would say he'd never really reached his current peak.
