Sounds good to me - be interesting to see whether KD thinks of moving Kuyt into a striking role again (which is what he was bought for in the original instance, IMO). This way you replace Kuyt on the wing and get the third striker most folk have been banging on about?

Players like Fabregas and Sanchez have joined barca knowing that they're not going to start a lot

id wager both of those will play a lot more than affelay even if it is from the bench to start with

Sadly, I don't see barca selling a player they just bought this year....loan might be possible though!

Going to Liverpool would be a huge step down. I remember you lot banging on about Mata, looks a brilliant player, and far to good for Liverpool, that's why he's playing for Chelsea.
