The fact is the better team won on the day and you were quite lucky Rooney missed a pen and di Maria was woeful because the scoreline could have been embarrassing for you.

More unlucky that a player who has been playing well had an off day handing you two goals and a player off the bench was red carded.

Lucky? Certainly not.

United deserved the win, that's for sure but that's what happens in this league when the opposition make three major mistakes, you take advantage.

Didn't think you were that good against Spurs either but they made crazy mistakes also.

I have given you credit. You were excellent in the first 35 and could have been as good in the second half but you switched to counter as you sat on a lead and had a man extra. You deserved to win the game. Not much more credit I can give than that.

Fair enough. You just make it sound like it was Liverpool errors that gifted the game, whilst ignoring the fact that it was our players who pressured you into those mistakes.

They were up for the battle hence us being the better team for most of the game even when down to ten

You were outclassed first half and in the second half we were hardly threatened. One bad pass from Carrick let you give us a bit of a fright, but it was comfortable. The last 8 minutes were played in your half.

60% possession says it all really.

Since last season we have regressed a little. That's partly to be expected as the whole team pattern and quite a few of the players have changed.

On the other hand United have invested a lot of money on proven quality players and a very experienced manager.

That told today.

Rooney is a selfish why didn't he let Mata take the pen for. Denied him a hayrick chance. Glad he missed the pen cocky chavvv
