For gods sake it's Hull...

Those with short memories think back to last season when we continuously bottled most games... It's already started. Burnley? Southampton? Even PSG we were poor!

I've been to pretty much every game this season bar 5-6 and the last convincing performance I remember was the 2-0 Stoke away.

Since then we have played so poorly, lack of confidence I think personally however I also think the players mentally have been so poor and this has been the number 1 cause for our performances.

Today after 2-0 I said to my Dad "finally, we actually have started well and look keen to get a few goals and put in a peformance"

After Courtois made an absolute mess for their second I was so fed up and really angry at the players. The first goal was poor from a defending perspective but the second was a complete and utter joke. It's not Ivan's fault at all, it was Courtois' and anyone that says otherwise is a fool. He should have assessed the danger and cleared, not tried to take a cocky arrogant touch to clear it. He is a professional footballer and even someone like me who plays at an amateur level knows that and believe me, Coutois KNOWs that aswel.

Now luckily we managed to win today but again the performance mentally was not good enough to win the league and that is a fact.

Now I hope I'm wrong and we come good and start to put in some better performances after the international break but if I'm right then unfortunately we will be finishing in 2nd place this season.

This article may upset Chelsea fans on here and may sound pessimistic so here's a positive thing to finish on...

If we play like that but still win then who the hell cares as we'll end up Premier League Champions
