An action packed weekend of boxing ahead lads, it all kicks off tonight with unproven puncher Fredrick Lawson challenging veteran Bredis Prescott in what should be a cracking fight.
Then on Saturday we've got newly crowned world champ Brook back to fighting joke opposition, this time a southpaw road sweeper from the slums of Romania. He gets a pass though cos it's a mandatory and he has to get it out the way.
Then later we go over to yankland where highly rated prospect Jermell Charlo takes on the tough Vanes Martirosyan on the undercard of Jonny Gonzalez vs Russell Jr, which is the fight of the night and the one I'm most looking forward to.
Also Nonito Donaire will be taking a stay busy fight in Macau.
My predictions:
Prescott by close UD
Brook by mid to late stoppage
Charlo by close UD
Russell Jr by close UD
Donaire by early KO

You're probably right about the outstanding candidate but risky to fight Kell on that basis.
I don't think it matters anyway, if Floyd was going to fight Amir then it would have happened by now. Khan's getting better, defensively speaking, and Floyd must be slowing down. Riskier fight for Floyd now than 2 years ago.
Plus you're right - a rematch with Manny is likely.

I think that Khan is going to have to take the Brook fight sooner or later.
If I was Khan I'd fight Brook now while Brook's still trying to get everything back on track after what happened to him.
Brook will only get better from now on. He's not going anywhere.
I'd fancy Kell Brook to beat Khan anyway, regardless of when they fight and I suspect that Khan also thinks this.

I don't think Khan's a ducker necessarily. He's fought some tough fights and he wouldn't be looking for the winner of the Floyd Manny fight if he was a ducker.
I don't think he wants to fight Brook though. Maybe he thinks Brook is below him or not a big enough name. I'm not sure.
As for me talking about Brook getting better it was more in reference to getting better from being stabbed and not sure if he would ever fight again.
Last night showed that he's back on track even if he was fighting a tomato can.
Anyway it would be great to have another really big all British fight which is what this fight would be. It would make a lot of money as well, certainly within the UK so there's good reasons for it to happen.

Vik. Since Garcia. Khan has fought. Molina Diaz collazo and Alexander. Not exactly big punchers are they or feared men in the Junior and welterweight division. He is carefully picking fights that will get him to the Mayweather fight. He is not this boxer that fights anyone and everyone anymore.

This is the same guy that fought Manny Pacquiao last year and not a peep said. Brook will face another bum because he is a bum. A massive fraud. Not beaten one good fighter in his career. He is crap. Khan doesnt want to fight him because Brook and his deluded promoter Hearn wont accept less of the purse. Khan is by far a bigger name

Manny against algeri was a shocking match up same as rios,
Khan should fight brook end of, brook has fought the best WW between them in porter Khan has fought Alexander,
Khan wants a big pay day but he knows losing to manny or floyd will not do anything bad for his legacy or ranking it will only increase and if he beats them he's then top dog at WW!
If he was willing to fight anyone he would be re matching maidana or fighting Thurman!
Instead he will go for algeri or a rios or someone
