I don't think that's likely.

Also I think we can safely say we aren't still in for him. With the signing of Coates apparently inevitable, it seems the asking price for Cahill was too high.

How great would that be though,if we nabbed him and off loaded the slovakian richard 'crystal maze' o'brien on transfer deadline day!

You won't find a better ckup centre back in the Premier League with possibly the exception of Chelsea and Man United. For me that means he is top 4 quality backup.

Also he looks nothing like Richard from Crystal maze with the exception of being bald.
