Generaly everyone was excited at the prospect of him joining and there were hardly any complaints

And everyone is complainig because he's cheap.
So much negativity around him already and he hasnt even officialy signed yet. No i'm not saying he is going to be good, infact I doubt he willl. But at least give him a chance like everyone was raving about Chamakh.

to be fair to chamakh, he did have a decent start to the season. the reason we're upset is because we've lost nasri and cesc, arguably are two best players (minus rvp of course). last season we only lost gallas and silvestre, so bringing chamakh in was a step forward. this year with both cesc and nasri gone, we're expecting some big name signing like hazard or even sneijder. so to find out that we've just bought a 26 year old striker from the french league who has been linked to fulham in the past, its bound to get on peoples titts.

He could be another Chamakh.....apart from the fact that he's a completely different player to Chamakh. Hopefully he will actually get in the box!

Of course park wouldn't score a lot. He doesn't play as a striker, he plays in the hole and on the wings. He's alot ilke Gervinho

so lets get this straight
He plays in a weak league and scored only 12 goals and cost £2 Mil so he is rubbish
But we are OK in paying £30 Mil for Hazard who plays in the same league.....
hmmmmm.......interesting.....................
