Tough game for us on Saturday. Southampton have really been one of the surprises of the season. I must admit I though they would struggle this season after selling so many players in the summer. To their credit the have progressed. I think that their academy deserves some credit and is a fine example of what investing in youth can produce.
I hope we can play much better than we did down there, were I feel we were totally outclassed.

I think if Roberto gets a win he'll also win a fair amount of the supporters back on his side.
Even though it's been a poor season I still believe in what he's trying to do. I think this season has been a learning curve for him and his footballing philosophy which will ultimately make him a better manager. We should judge him at the end of next season.

I think it's to late for a fair few fans now, even if we win every game that's left it still will have been a disappointing season.

No surprise for me with Southampton, been saying for the last few years that they would be the team to make the break into Europe/CL.
Roberto, backed by the fans who proclaimed the School of Science was back.....now these same fickle fans are /have turned on him? It makes no sense to me....but they are possible the same who wanted Moyes gone.

I have it down for a score draw, Southampton come to play and we will be a danger on the break.

well in all honesty you were probably in the minority to thing after all the upheaval at the saints. What with losing there supposed top players and also losing there management. They they would do as well as the have done.

If we finish the season strong, then I'm prepared to give Martinez another season,if we continue to play the same dross then he can fück right off. I'll be spitting feathers if Robbie puts Ross on the bástard wing again,we've seen how dangerous he is when played behind the striker.

Mr R.
I think you hit the nail on the head, it's the academy and how the club is ran that's the key, like Swansea. Set a philosophy and then employ the people to continue it.
