Deadwood Got To Go

They say that a lot of squad upheaval over the summer is bad for the team, but I think this summer we have got to get the squad right once and for all.


Normally, I would never recommend a huge reshuffle in the summer at Spurs, as there is always so much instability at the club, but this time around there is SO much deadwood that I would happily see 10 plus out the door!

bring 5 in, and promote 5 from youth so complete the squad.


the following names make for depressing reading - especially as they are eating up the majority of the wage bill I would expect.


Absolute Deadwood

Kaboul - free
Adebayor - 1 mill
Paulinho - might get 10 mill from some muggy serie a side
Soldado - 8 mill from spain
Capoue (forgot we even had this guy ! ) - 5 mill


Jury Very much out - wouldn't care if they were moved on

Lamela - 10 mill from serie a
Townsend - some silly English team like qpr would pay 15mill
Chiriches - 5mill
Stambouli - 4 mill
Vertonghen - clearly good enough but his attitude is so bad that his talent is meaningless, couldn't care less if he goes. - 10 mill
Fazio - don't mind him actually.. but 3rd or 4th choice

Others

Dembele - would just about keep him
Carrol - no idea what will happen with him
Holtby - what is happening with him?
Lennon - 5 mill



depressing how much of the wage bill that lot is taking up !


Levy has to shift this lot out... even if some of them are at a loss...
