After the Bradford game on Friday we are now in a position where the play offs seem miles away. Our esteemed manager was apparently very angry after the 3-0 drubbing, our third successive home defeat at a time when our home should be a fortress.
People keep coming up with reasons, the Keepmoat lacks atmosphere, the manager doesn't have a clue, the players think they are better than the opposition (only to find out they arn't).
Whatever the reason, we need to invoke our away form tonight to have any semblance of making the play offs. This is a big game for Andy Butler on his return to Bramall Lane, having said that he didn't seem to spend much time there, going on loan to Walsall and then to us, before signing full time.
The one bright spark from Friday was the introduction of Liam Mandeville near the end and the way he played looked well for the future.
I think there will be changes for tonight, particularly in defence, where I would suggest McCombe will come in for McCullough adding a bit of height to the back four. I also think that Razak may come in, as he seems to be better suited to the bigger game and crowd. The strikers need to prove that they ARE strikers and start to put the ball in the net instead of continuing to miss sitters.
To be realistic, I expect us to get thrashed, but with our away record and the fact that the Blades have faltered recently at home we may get a good result, here's hoping.
Enjoy the game.

Utter bolloxs Yankee. Big changes needed from top to bottom. But DickOff has got an excuse as I've never seen a more blatant penalty.
Would love to know what game he watches as the substitutions we're baffling. Will someone please buy us as these vvankers in charge are only bothered about the rugby side of "club Doncaster"

One less game with that clown in charge.

Main and Mccombe were 💩 worst players on the park our other 9 were excellent. Subs as per usual baffling but then again a 12th place position is giving Dickov a nose bleed being so high up, so needs to lose a few to emulate his Oldham managerial finish!

I should have been there but I spent 3 hours waiting for a routine medical appointment instead. At the time I wasn't sure which experience was likely to be more fun. It seems Bennett is at last starting to come good, but he needs to play in the middle behind Main or Tyson. The rapier and the cutlass. Butler clearly needs a new partner at the back, If Jones could recover form and fitness they would be great together but I suspect it is too late for the old warhorse. If there is no money Wabara looks a lot more comfortable in the centre than at RB.
