Two players I really rate, premier league proven, the right age and in the FFP and home grown era represent great value for money. Schneiderlin would be the perfect partner for matic, allowing fabregas to operate more freely and relieve some of the pressure put on matic to dominate the midfield singlehandedly, plus he strikes me as a bit of a mix of the two. Do people see this realistically happening and would you want them ?

We don't need Clyne at all though. He'd be pretty expensive as well.

Shneiderlin would be a clear indication that we are serious about Rlc's inclusion in the senior squad.
Schniederlin is a good player as well and could en good and not so high profile that would be hard to drop
It's the perfect solution
Clyne would come at a price let United overpay Southampton for him

Clyne only has a year left to run on his contract so shouldn't be stupid money, I agree that branny is a better player but he can't carry on forever

But he's still our first choice and we can't keep someone like Clyne on the bench. We can't play both, so I don't see how we could sign him, at least not now.

Don't know, we used to have one team for the league and another for the CL. I wonder how Veron's goatee is getting on?

To be fair, I see a big signing for Chelsea this summer.
They have seen City make the mistake of building their squad but not their first team, and I can't see José allowing a similar situation to arise.
You'll see all of Chelsea, City and Utd improve their first 11, perhaps Arsenal too.

I'd like to be in the room when the negotiations take place.
If Carlsberg did negotiating teams it'd probably be a mix of your two club's people.

I see Brana's future at CB. I don't think that he has the pace to stay at RB forever. Seen him get skinned a couple of times this season.
So bringing in a top class young RB like Clyne would make sense, especially if he is in the last year of his contract as the price wouldn't be too high.
