In years gone by this was a game where both sides were containing quite a few local boys who played this game with added aggression and it was a proper, feisty derby. But these days there are probably not going to be any Mancunians involved in this derby and for that reason I find it hard to believe this game will be any feistier than a non-derby game.
I fully appreciate from a fans perspective this game will be one for the bragging rights and will be very important but with no local boys in the line-up will this game matter as much to the players anymore than say, if we were playing Arsenal or City were playing Liverpool?
Is this the first derby between the two sides without a local boy playing? Last season Welbeck played both games and i'm sure Scholes or Giggs or Welbeck played at least some of those games.
To clarify, from a fans perspective of course this game is huge. But to the non local players, do they really get geed up for the game as much as the local ones? And with no local boys in the side does the derby mean that much to them?

I fear Man City more then Chelsea. I think Chelsea will make Man utd look like the 2010-11 Barca side. Chelsea only managed 3 shots against Man City and 0 shots for last 50 minutes of the match.

Okay only Man City had more short passes then Man utd per game 556 vs 481. Man utd play most successful long balls in games and are 19th in least amount of inaccurate long balls 20th. 82% of Man utd passes are short, 13% long, 4% crosses. I think we only made 3 through balls according to statistics.

Chelsea are 4th ranked side on performances but then again this site troll the performances that we did well in like Liverpool away is one of our lowest scores due to lack of shots.
