Chelsea really should have signed Sanchez in the summer. He'd have been insane on the right. Does all the hard graft that Willian does but is ten times the player in attack.

I did two articles about that last summer before Arsenal signed him.

Most disagreed with me saying that we had more than enough on the wings in the likes of Schurrle and Salah.

Fast forward a few months and Sanchez is established as one of the best players in the League (as I said he would be) and neither Schurrle or Salah are even at Chelsea anymore.

Yeah £15m between them.

Take into account our sell low policy and our pay facking stupidly high policy and Nani, RVP and £70m is more likely.

Dunno but Prem is sloshing in TV money. Your lot, Manc C and Chelsea are gonna bust the bank wide open. A lot of other prem teams will spend very big. Except Spurs because of their 'stadium'.

I liked him at Udinese when I'd never heard of the other two wum.

Yeah and it's because all of that money is flying around that transfer fees will be massively inflated. Especially for us. Next season we'll be getting £75m from Adidas plus I think it's about £60m from being in the CL. That's a £110m increase on what we already make. Selling clubs can see us coming a mile off.

Presumptions will get you no where Fletcher.

Sanchez would have made a huge difference. Even when we were playing really well earlier in the season I always felt that there was something missing in the team and I seriously doubt I would have felt that if we'd bought him.

He's one of those players that was so obviously going to be a big hit in the PL I'm amazed that none of the other top clubs were fighting each other to sign him.

Yep I agree.

Though I can understand why us and City didn't go for him.
