An unbiased final table

Taking away all biases, points based purely on the remaining fixtures, the position in the table of the opponents and whether the games are home and away:

1 Chelsea 87
2 Arsenal 77
3 Man City 75
4 Man Utd 73
-------------------------
5 Liverpool 68
6 Tottenham 67
7 Southampton 65

Take it or leave it as you will, but at least it has no biases!

It's impossible to be unbiased. In attempting to do so you then become biased to another team because you overcompensate.

The only fault I have with Gary Neville's punditry is that he occasionally does this.

So its a fault of his doing something that in your own words is "impossible" to avoid?

I assume he is saying that he overcompensates more than most.

It may be impossible to avoid but it is still possible to do this to a lesser or greater extent - i.e. more or less than "average".
