I've just flogged my Clark Carlisle shirt on eBay (match worn v WHU away, passed to me at the game) and I need to send it off first thing in t'morning. And also the ex Rover Tugay's signed Besiktas (Gala's arch rivals) shirt too. Why he signed a Besiktas shirt God only knows but there you go.

And the bloke who bought the Tugay shirt is a Brazilian.....
or did he offer me a Brazilian ? I'll have to check the email.

Actually Eddie its Fenerbache and Galaterasay thats the big rivals,Besiktas is a sort of nice respected in -between club.

Mind you, Fenerbahce are in deep do do at the minute, it makes t'Rovers "difficulties" with the Venkys look almost acceptable. Almost.

Eddie I was there a few weeks ago.There are 5 clubs in Istanbul.Fenne and Galat are on the european side with Istanbul BB(Beyukseher) and on the Asian side across the Bosphorus is Besiktas and Kasimpasa the latter being around the corner from the Hilton Hotel.

Sound. I only know the Besiktas area myself, the stadium is a very compact, odd looking thing.....I'll have to see what its capacity is.

30 odd thousand, apparently, it looks much smaller.......... but then I'm always told that.............
