It's that moment so many of you have waited for the verbal slapping that was waiting to happened.
BBC allowed the callers who thought the BBC would never of let on vent their splean on the boys for being the only two LCFC supporters not supporting their team and bringing everyone down.
I let you make up your own mind the result.

They're still three points adrift' He couldn't help it and he just had to have a little negative dig.

Hows that a negative dig we are three points adrift and was showing balance with the immensely enthusiastic Sam. Also good on them for putting her on it goes against what you and others think is anti Pearson and Negative of him and the BBC.

What do you expect him to say yes your right we will walk it now we have one two games in the last 25?

Its not because he's a mate but as that i will support him its the (and i am being generous here) the Nativity or something else that of those who think hes please when WBA score FFS

WE ALL KNOW WE'RE THREE POINTS ADRIFT NEV.

But it's nice to have a bit of positivity and a feel-good factor after two successive wins. God knows this season has been hard enough so let people enjoy a couple of wins and a bit of positivity when something good happens.

No-wonder you're such good mates with him, you both obviously went to the same charm school.

Nev, the point here is not people believing that Stringer isn't a Leicester fan. The issue is that people believe he is so keen on being proven right and saving his own skin that he is content for Leicester to go down so that Pearson will get the sack. I'm sure you'll argue that isn't true and I'd believe you, but here's the rub:

/That is the impression he is giving./

People aren't just making this stuff up - intended or otherwise, this is the impression that he puts across at times (not all the time, but at times). If that's not his intention then that is a failure of broadcasting, and precisely the kind of thing I want him to recognise for his own sake.

During Pauline's call, she says several times that she wants Youngy back. That, for me, was rather rude - to Stringer but also to Matt Elliott, his replacement. I can understand why Stringer would get annoyed about that, particularly as he hasn't spread around the reasons for Alan Young's removal despite the fact that the truth would almost certainly help his cause. That's to be admired. So I do understand it when Stringer loses his cool with the second caller, Darren. He then challenges Darren to think on the spot and has a pop at him when he can't. So essentially, Stringer gets wound up and has a go at someone who has insulted him and his colleagues. Except when he does it, you think it's justified, yet when Pearson does it, you think he's a bully. The main difference between the two is that Stringer does it more eloquently, leading people into traps while Pearson just tells them straight out. Both of them shouldn't have done it and should have kept their cool and been more magnanimous with the people in question, but neither should be crucified for it.

And incidentally, I don't doubt that Stringer has received a lot of complaints since hit cut-throat gesture, and that some of them are downright disgusting - such is the nature of the internet. I have no time for fans who feel they have the right to demand his removal from Radio Leicester. It's weasel-like and pernicious.

With the guy who had a go at Alan he said "Alans not hear to defend himself" which was good. But everyone is anilalising every syllable to see if they can find their nuance that fits there version of events.

Its' not the Cut throat gesture its he perceived anti-pearson and supposed glee when we don't do well.
I think he should of just said thats your opinion Pauline but then i have not had the abuse he has had.

Agreed, and I do understand why he reacted given the amount of criticism he's bound to have been receiving from people who think they have the right to give it.

I don't think Pauline did herself any favours when she started banging on about bringing Alan Young back. I enjoyed listening to Alan Young too as he could be quite amiable in a controversial sort of way. Now, however, he just comes across as bitter and dishevelled and I wish people would see that he's clearly not been fired simply because the BBC decided they could do better.

Dung the back story to Saturday is that Pauline rings radio Leicester every week without fail asking for Stringer to be fired she has written to RL saying he should be fired again for Blocking her on Twitter.
Saturday for the first time she rang in if i was Stringy i would of given both Barrels. I think under the circumstances he was quite calm

She rings the management of radio Leicester to complain about S and asking for him to be replaced and writes to them this is the first time she has tried to come on air Joby

That does make for a difficult situation. Part of me says give her air time, on the basis of giving her enough rope to hang herself; part of me says don't give her the platform. Either way, it sounds like this woman is a nuisance.
