is balotelli a terrible signing..what now

He divided opinion from the off. There were those who believed that would realise his ability with Liverpool and there were those, (including myself), who feared that he would flop badly due to his questionable attitude.

What winds me up now is pillocks still advocating for his inclusion, despite having the the unwavering evidence that he doesn't work hard enough, or play for a team. Mario is lazy and plays for himself.

He's been a terrible buy. Not our worst, but arguably Rodgers worst since he's been at the club.

We had no plan B in terms of where to go after Sanchez turned us down. This is what worries me the most about the whole sorry saga. There is a lack of transparency re. transfers due to this committee process. I hope the club knows who's accountable for the clubs Balotelli balls up.

Not all transfers will be a success, far from it. However, I was gobsmacked when the rumours started circulating we were in for him.

I know Cantona had his issues but it was never with lack of effort or application.

Balotelli has ability but not as much as he appears to think he has.

The main problem is that Balotelli seems quite happy doing what he's doing, there is no desire to improve.

He's the very opposite of the player that Shanks and Paisley would have signed back in the day.

I think there could have an element of increased Kudos for BR had he reformed Balo, like he had successfully made Suarez into the world class goal scoring machine.

BR may well have acceded to the transfer committee recommendation with this in mind.

Rodgers could have chose to play him in a 2 but stubbornly played him alone for 90% of his time here. Balo even remarked he's not a lone striker.

Stubborn manager rather than player attitude IMO. He worked hard enough, just wasn't suited to the role he was given.
