I don't know much about this kid but it looks as though we'll be signing him having beaten off competition from City for around £4.5 mil.
Nathan has represented Brazil at U17 and U20 level. He scored five goals in five games at U17 World Cup in 2013 and was named in the team of the tournament.
These signings are always a bit “wait and see" since we’ve so little to go on, could he prove to be a bargain like Courtois or is he another Piazon? Does this kid have a chance of becoming a first team player or are we going to see a succession of loans and a sale before he gets anywhere near the first team?

Great to see another young English player given a chance at a top Premier League club

Meh
Didn't cost much
Never heard of him
Will go to vitesse
Then to Germany
Then be sold for moderate profit

Unlikely to make a loss and as such little risk but would be nice to think he has a chance.
Sounds like he may be able to play in the Hazard role.

He'll be out on loan for years anyway and sold for a profit

I think you'll find not only is the Chelsea youth set up full of English players but also local English players. Maybe do a tad of research next time so you do look so completely stupid.

Barely gets a game for Paranaense, 3 starts for us.
Not sure how he will get a work permit, unless he has a European granny. Calling him an exceptional talent would be a joke.

Can't wait for him to be benched for Vitesse for 2 years and then sold to Flamengo for 500k.
