He's on a free this time.
He is a quality player and I would welcome him.
Believe it when I see it though.

Not sure why Term is doing the ol doh! routine.
Kono is available for a nominal fee and with fair play rules in force must be worth a look. He's not far off being world class IMO.
Another one mooted in the press is Carlos Bacca at Sevilla. We have done business with them before and I reckon he's just the type to fit in at Anfield. He will bring some much needed goals with him.

Just to add a source..... It was reported in the Metro, who got the story from the Daily Star

Term
Pretty spurious source to say the least. One other problem is we have a glut of wingers. We would have to unload one at least.
If Sterling went for a decent fee we would be in business. I reckon Kono is a better player.

We would probably get more consistency with Kono at the moment. But we don't know how good Sterling can get, I suspect Kono has reached his ceiling???

i think we need another attacker, and would probably be a decent value signing with his contract situation, may also give a chance for ibe to go out on loan to a prem club where he will get regular football

I want to keep Ibe at the club. He's more than good enough to get regular footbal for us. Better to control his appearances and training at the club.
