Bradford City v Barnsley 25th April 3pm ko

The game has absolutely nothing riding on it, but it will be a somber occasion. The 30th anniversary of that dreadful fire at Valley Parade. Barnsley are to lay 56 white roses in the centre circle pre game.
CEO Bens Mansford to join 50 or so of us fans walking from Oakwell to Valley Parade in memory of the 56.
Please give to either charity benefiting if you can. Many thanks.

Well, no blisters, incredibly sore shins and hips. The feeling walking into Bradford as cars honked and people clapped will stay with me forever. Truly moving experience.

snapski Well done you and your fellow walkers were great. I missed you lap of honour because I was one of the bucket collectors for the Burns Unit-we collected over £6,000.
How I wish the BBC had shown both sets of fans singing "You'll never walk alone". It was very moving.
