His absence is nothing to do with a possible move.

He's got problems with his throat.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke says there has been no contact with Manchester United regarding Ilkay Gundogan.

If it is happening the media or twitter certainly don't know.

Watzke: "There have been no negotiations with Man Utd so far"

Watzke at sky: "Ilkay has an offer from us there are. He must then decide whether he accepts it. He has to say yes or no."

He could simply be denying it just to delay any announcement which if there is to be one, it should hopefully be made soon.

The local media must've got wind of something because Der Westen, Ruhr Nachrichten and also SKY Germany all sound so certain he's leaving.

One of Ruhr Nichrichten's reporters is saying Watzke's comments are in line with the information they have.

That's not so good.

Watzke speaking about Tuchel on 17th April said don't assume that Tuchel would become the new Dortmund coach.

Tuchel confirmed two days later.
