Since our win over Arsenal, our very own Billy Pochetinno has been making Brendan Laughterpool look like Sir Alf Ramsey.
In no particular order, we went out Europa in a truly pathetic manner; we lost a key game at Anfield; we were humiliated by United; we have been outclassed by relegation fodder, including Villa. The players do not care and it seems the "Head Coach" is completely incapable of motivating them. Be in no doubt, we are regressing backwards.
We have had only what I would call two top performances this season, Arsenal and Chelsea. After each of those, a small band of realists repeatedly told this site that this board was massively overrating Pochetinno. We mocked and derided, with certain posters even spending a whole week calling myself, Chicken and grandspurs out in article titles . Well we were right, and plenty of you mugs were utterly, utterly mistaken.
His setup is predictable and we have no plan B. We play with absolutely no width whatsoever with players playing out of position. Some of the worst players we have had for years, I'm thinking Chriches, are getting in the starting eleven. His substitutions are nothing short of a joke.
I said a long time ago that there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Pochetinno was a better manager than Sherwood. I said he *might be* better, but that I hadn't seen much to demonstrate that. The 'awful' Sherwood now has a 100% win ratio against the amazing Poch, and be in no doubt that Tim is doing a better job at Villa than Poch has done at Spurs.
As for Levy, time and time again some of us say Levy should do more in the transfer windows and time and time again he lets the club down. This is happening in the context of Spurs having the lowest net spend of any other team in the league for 6 or so years now.
Occasionally, some of Levy's most deluded fans see sense and refer to the problem in no uncertain terms.
“I get loads of criticism from Spurs fans for defending Levy on occasions, but if he doesn't help Poch reinforce the squad then he wont have a leg to stand on." (Jan 27)
Sadly, just a few days later the same poster not only forgot what he had just written, but preemptively started calling out Spurs fans who might have the temerity to say what he had said just a few days before.
This kind of grade A mug thinking is the problem in our club. We have clowns like Levy, Baldini and Poch running the club, and mug supporters who let them get away with it. Clueless mug supporters who believe that mediocrity is all we can expect.
Also, take no lessons in loyalty from this poster. When Sherwood was manager we once won a game he penned an article entitled, "Didn't see the game today but just how BADLY did we play?".
Going forward, we need a root and branch changes across the board. Our next manager must at least be capable of getting performances out of average players, like Pardew is doing at Palace. This is not a lot to expect, and there is no question that Poch will go at some point. The earlier the better actually.

Bill and I have parted company so the laugh's on you. I come on the forum in the hope that I might learn something new but reading your posts, that's a forlorn hope.
