Potential suitors for Eden will need to

fork out a world record fee for the player.

Jose has stated that every player has his price and it would take an astronomical fee of £200m for CFC to sell the player!

Once again Roman and CFC backing there players , the guy is virtually priceless

We are building a squad for the future not a stadium

Of course, thats what would happen at Liverpool.

CFc do not sell players who perceived part of spine that the side will be around

Scouser thats just the way we roll !

??? what happened yesterday i thought you were a potential top four hope

Pulis seems to have the better of us. You'll have heard "parking the bus" a few times already .

You could argue Terry, Lamps and Drogs stayed around for years, but were there any big money bids for any of them? I know during City's renaissance there was speculation regarding Terry joining them. I'm sure if the right money came even you guys would have sold them on.

Sm, im not being biased mate , but the clubs ambition is to win the Champions league and the EPL on more than one occasion over the next 10 years, the club know it will not happen if you sell your key players.

The club have mastered FFP, we are not financially under pressure.

You know what I'm talking about, IF you had kept Xavi, Mascherano and Suarez you would have been in a far different position today.

Cfc haven't won what they have won because they are prepared to sell the key players, we will not sell him in the next 3 years and if he doesn't want to we will not sell him.

Thats just the way it is at CFC!

Mourinho has said in the past that he tried twice at signing Drogba while at Inter Milan. He also tried signing Lampard when he was at both Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

ifarka - I agree if we held onto those we could have gone much further.
blueisthecolour - thanks for the info. Seems only Mou was interested in Lamps and Drogs - I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe that Barcelona also tried signing Lampard on a couple of occasions, I don't know if that's true but it has been reported in the press.

Chelsea don't lose key players because they win trophies regularly. If Chelsea went 2 or 3 years trophyless the they would find it hard to keep on to their best players but that is yet to happen since Abramovic made the club relevant.

Yeah. Roman would sacked underachieving wasters like Wengie
