Shame as he nears the end of his time at Goodison he gets his tactics right. Or is it a case of his Wigan days and leaving it late to avoid relegation?
Good to see United allow us a win, it must be in the terms of the sale of Barkley in the summer
And with no chance of Liverpool catching them it was risk free for LVG

irrelevant what spin you put on it. We start to perform when the season has nothing left for us. Now if your happy with that, then good for you. Making out that your special because you have more faith in roberto than others ( well definitely me ) is a bit boring imo. How about the backing you kept giving alcarez? & kone?
Maybe just enjoy a good performance.

I hope you two are not bein fooled by this fluke win and unbeaten run, it's how he did each year at Wigan. He has to go, surely?

On a serious note I'm glad Martinez is ending the season on a high, hopefully He's learned a lot this season and it appears he now has a plan B.

Maybe Roberto brings this on himself, if he hadn't been so obstinate and just for once like all 'good' managers took the time out to actually listen to his players and perhaps even his staff, our confidence would not have taken such a battering in those first 28 games. Look at the setup of the Team now with Barry sitting in front of the back 4 using his experience instead of his legs and leaving McArthy to do what he does best. I also agree that now we have our best back 4 with Stones ability to bring the ball out when required.

Both have had cruciate ligament injuries since signing. I did my medial ligaments and that ended me playing football.
Anyway, Roberto out and take your rubbish with you

I bet the RS wish they'd have won yesterday now as United looking shaky again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i think if we had won, United would have treated this match like a cup final
they played like the race for 4th was over. It basically is.

Both weren't good enough in the first place. Although for some fans they will blindly follow any player in a blue jersey

United looked comfortable until they came up against Barry and McCarthy. That's when they needed pace through the middle to get away before those two recovered.

I dont have any idea how much cash will be there come the summer but Martinez has a good platform to build on now with some good young players....if a few of Browning, Garbutt*, Galloway, Green, Long etc can break through and we get some experienced players in then we will see how good or bad Martinez is as a manager but like i said weeks back he deserves another season

Great win for Everton. Thanks for the result. It's a shame we didn't win against WBA, we could have capitalised on the situation.
Hope we play better in the rest of the run in to keep up the pressure.
