To make matters worse the victim was a pregnant lady
Jones is currently in custody.

Reports indicate he is being sought for questioning so he cannot be in custody. Not seen a single mention of cocaine anywhere either. The pregnant lady luckily suffered minor injuries only. They could say someone else was driving. No jail. The show must go on.

They could say that but it'd be stupid to lie. Cameras in intersections can be easily viewed and would show the driver.

The guy in question has a scetchy history, he's broke a few stories in his time and he's also been wrong.
Drugs have been found in Jones car but it's not coke.
