As a lifelong Spurs fan, also a Bournemouth resident for the past 15 years, thoroughly overjoyed at Bournemouth's promotion into the Premier League last night.
They have really showed the spirit of the original Football way of years gone by. Not tainted by Big Business this team has scored over 90 goals this season and have been a beacon of what not "anti-football" is all about.
Here's my dilemma. When it comes to Bournemouth v Spurs next season, erm, you get this picture.
When people have local teams they support in addition to their lifelong Glory team. When they match up, who do you buy tickets for. Who do you cheer for when they score?

Dilemma. But Amazing Bournemouth!!

Fantastic season for the Cherries - well done. And it was also great to see Kermogant perform so well - just don't let him take penalties at crucial times!
My family had a flat on Evening Hill for over 20 years so I have a soft-spot for the club. Can understand why Eddie's better half wanted to move back from Burnley!
Desparately hope we survive to play you next year.

Support Bournemouth for 90% of the season, Spurs for 100%.

OP
Isn't the owner of Bournemouth another dodgy billionaire like Abramovich.

I had the same dilemna, I was born, brought up and lived in Tottenham, I then moved to a flat near Highbury in my teens. I had a great difficulty in coming to terms with who I should support.

I don't understand the dilemma. You are a Spurs fan...

I agree with Chronic. Even if I moved to a different area for more than half my life, I would still be a Spurs fan - I could not even contemplate switching alliances simply because of where I lay my head of a night.
I'll always want my local clubs to do well, i.e. AFC Hornchurch, Romford Town and Dagenham and Redbridge but if any were promoted to our league, or we met them in a cup comp then I could never be swayed away from my life supported team.

With a ground only holding 12,000 I don't think there will be many spare tickets, do you?

There was something similar on TalkSport the other day, a Liverpool fan contemplating giving up being a Liverpool fan to watch his local team. Which was just ridiculous.
Support Bournemouth, and possibly even get a ST, the atmosphere would be great and the games would be good fun, cheaper and easier to get to than Spurs. But never drop your actual team, Spurs4lyf.

Why should you support or take an interest in a team because you've moved to that area/city? Nonsense reason IMO.
