Think our problems run a lot deeper than just in the striking department too TOOR. Lacking real quality and control in midfield at the moment, Allen continues to very unconvincing.

Either way wouldn't try discuss it on the board until tomorrow at the very least...

In the past we had a certain Gerrard to rescue us. We don't have that luxury anymore.

Well that's it, we now need to sign a big player in midfield also as Gerrard couldn't do what he did last season and now is moving on. Allen is a decent player but not good enough to be a first team regular. Perhaps Can can do a good job in midfield but in Can and Henderson, there isn't enough goals.

For me we worked best with a diamond so that means we need to sign a defensive midfielder, with Can and Henderson ahead of them with Coutinho at the top. We then need a striker also. Plus a right back. I'm hoping we make only around four signings and this time quality not quantity.

We must also sell Balotelli, he has been a disaster and obviously the Sterling situation needs sorted, sign or sell.

Agree with all of that, as you say quality not quantity is the key, going to be tough to attract the right players though.

Rodgers disrespected Carra.

Carra on the coaching staff should've been a no brainer.

No chance of him ditching sky for us now.

Still a full paid-up member of the BR Fan Club after that performance?

I just wasn't aware that Rodgers hired staff.

I trust Rodgers to get it right over the medium to long term.

So yes Rodgers should stay. He got it right last season, you could say "too right" it raised expectations far beyond what they realistically should be.

To be where we are is crazy really since we have barely played well as a team all season.
