Well that was poo wasn't it?!!
As some of u may know, I'm a supporter of Brendan. I like him, he is in the mold of how a Liverpool manager shud be(not quite right yet). I mean on a personal level. He is softly spoken has personality and a sense of humour and I really think if he can sort his tactics and this team outhe cud be with is for years of success. Will he get the chance?
This season has been remarkably disappointing !oat of is were realistic after the sale of chomper, to say we wud be happy with 4th etc as we Wudnt be the same without him. To go without a top notch replacement was criminal, and I sympathise with Bren over balotelli because he was really shafted by the committee after failing with Sanchez. However the recruitment of a top notch forward shud have been addressed on day one of transfer window and a suitable plan b if Sanchez wasn't acquired . Lesson learned?
To lose studge too cud have been foreseen as well as his history isn't exactly spotless.
I sympathise too re the large quantity of new faces required to fill a thin squad that Bren was required to gut of overpaid deadwood then fill with youth to ensure we had sufficient bodies for four competitions. That quantity of new faces to a squad and style will take time to gel. But the constant switching of tactics won't help that!!
In short we all expected a transitional season, but none of us thought quite this much! So what now stick or twist with mr rodgers?
IMO we shud stick. The style and panache we played with last season wasn't just down to luis. We, as a whole team, didn't just beat teams, we destroyed them with relentless attacking play. This came from the manager and his tactics and coaching .
So
1. Remove this committee. None of us really know what the heck is happening with re transfers. Plus the ambiguity re the signings of people like Balo and Alberto and aspas leaves me wondering who wanted them? Give the chq book to bren and let him live or die by his own signings
2. We haven't got loads to spend but I imagine £40m wud be reasonable. Add to that some extra from increases TV deal plus player sales so maybe £80m budget? 3or 4 TOP NOTCH FIRST TEAM signing pls no excuses
3. Select 2 tactics to use. Is it 433 or 3421 or 4diamond2? Pick them and buy appropriate player to fill the spaces
4. Stop the silly comments in the press about saying we were outstanding wen we blatantly weren't .
Some comments he makes are great but just stay out of the press so much
And telling them the crux of how ur tactics work . Counterproductive I my eyes
I feel if we do this next season we will see the team of last season reemerge

What did Milan achieve when supplying Balo?
Nothing.
He's never done anything in his career.
His greatest achievement is an assist to Aguero, his only assist amazingly in the PL.
Rodgers should have done more to make the best of him because he had him.
No point now though.
Sell him, move on.

I agree we need to sell him and move on.
i just dont like apportioning of blame at the door of a player whose played less than 15 games for us all season (in terms of minutes) in broken up, and inconsistent chunks in a playstyle that was never ever going to work for him.
As for his time at milan he was the only highlight in a few very poor years for them.
i hope napoli want him and will part ex for higuain.

I agree he shud and will be sold but that can happen til the summer. Lambo and borini aren't up to it that leaves Balo and sterling. Balo needs space provided by someone with pace to occupy the def.

Not sure on yesil, too soon after his injuries, sinclair i would like to see, deserves it more than others in the 1st team

Yesil is fit.
He can easy do half hour off the bench, or an hour from the start.
