So the flexible tactical genius having found a winning formula changes it and we see the result. Barklay or Osman should have started because both will run at the defence through the middle, add that to Mirallas and Lennon on the outside and Villa would be forced onto the long ball. In the Echo he says he is not one dimensional and is tactically astute, fair enough. So against United we played initially barry at the back with McArthy the legs and engine, then in front of them we had Barkley running directly into the middle of their defence or dragging the heart we then have Lennon running straight at them on the flanks with initially Osman and then Mirallas on the other flank. For the game today our tactically astute manager opens up the midfield in front of Barry and McArthy by leaving out Barkley who can play on either foot, attack directly through the middle or stretch the opposition defence by running the angles, Naismith is a good player but does not do the same job as Barkley as he is a reactive player normally just off the shoulder of Lukaku. The point being that we have just got our form back and become a winning Team so the fraud from abroad reverts to type and changes it. Not angry with the bloke but just very frustrated.
