I admit I am too lazy and un-clued up to work it out, but it would be nice to know, if someone has worked it out:
taking all the league games he was in charge this season, what were his results - won/drawn/lost/points/for/against
I mean both times he was in charge. And exclude cup games, league only.
As a sub-question, what were the league results in the period that he had Thommo as assistant?
I'd genuinely like to know - not saying it will answer all questions about him, as you can still spin the facts to suit your view...... on one hand, given the turmoil at Leeds even modest results were a success; on the other hand you can allege he could not manage some of the squad and that's why they allegedly went a bit mutinous.
I have no axe to grind here, but think the facts would help for a more informed discussion
Anyone able to oblige?

Your better sub-question is , what were the results when he started Morison?

Its another interesting one, but I'd say not a better one, as the manager chooses the players and formation, and its the managers performance I am asking about
But agree would be interesting to get the facts on that too

Steve Morison started 14 games under Redfearn and won 7, drew 4 and lost 3. He previously started a couple under Darko and lost both games.

Thanks, based on Sir Kenneth's figures:
Rather than finishing 15th, the NR performance if replicated would have got us to 9th or 10th
Given that Thommo was NR's choice and he saw him as important to his success, its interesting that in that period we averaged over 1.6 points a game, which if replicated all season, this season would have put us just outside the playoffs on 74 points
Also, the matches when NR was not in charge we had undoubted relegation form
..............................................................................
All NR - 1.39 points a game, equivalent to 64 pts and 10th
NR + Thommo - 1.61 points a game, equivalent to 74 pts and 9th (but only 4 points off the playoffs)
NR not in charge - 0.60 points a game, equivalent to 28 pts and 23rd = relegation
I make no judgements, but the facts are interesting, don't you think?

I think Redder's had it easier with his nr2 in place, it took a lot of the work load of his shoulders and helped him work on other things around the club, like listening to his nr2, swapping ideas with his nr2, and most importantly, getting a working team going with his nr2!..
It fell apart when he lost his n2, but that was only because he had to much to do without any backup!..
A proper coaching set up takes a lot of pressure away from all when it works how it should!.

Thanks 2020 you have provided interesting stats there.

you still fail to see the connection, which is that Thommo influence coincided with playing Morison in his proper position as a target man.
I maintain that the inclusion of Morison was the most significant factor!
