Have we now galivinized other teams around us?
What was a great win that seemed to lift us clear. Is now just a vital win just to keep our noses in front. I'm still a keeper of TB's faith but i hope our players can steel their nerve when we have our next setback and never quit.
Slightly ostrich head in the sand moment for me today how do you all feel?
Our continued momentum means

Slightly disappointed with the other results meaning we're still right in the mire but also happy in a way that I'm able to write such a thing when you consider where we were only a few weeks ago.
Also how would we be feeling if we'd only drawn or lost against Newcastle yesterday and been back in the relegation zone?

I'm not sure it's galvanised them as much as forced everyone to show their hands. Everyone was trundling along quite happily, doing enough and then stringing some results together as soon as they came within a sniff of relegation. Now relegation is a very real possibility and everyone's had to up their game. The question is - who out of us, Hull and Sunderland will be able to maintain it?
The bookies still have Sunderland to go down. Despite their game in hand, their fixture list is a horror show and their season depends on either beating us at home or scraping together enough points elsewhere and hoping someone (probably Newcastle) plummet.

I think Newcastle are in freefall but being a LCFC fan also means i am expecting the wheels to fall off!
Sunderland gets a win in their game in hand and i fear we will be caught.

This weekend is massive. If we beat Southampton and Sunderland lose to Everton we'll be four points clear by the time we play. The importance of the Sunderland game rests on those two games.
If that happens, we can afford to lose to Sunderland and they'll still be a point behind with inferior goal difference meaning they'll need to get at least six points from Arsenal and Chelsea, assuming we can beat QPR of course.

Arro i wonder if the players are feeling the same tension as we are this is them moment you find those who have it and those who don't and so far everyone has delivered.

For those concerned about Hull's performance this evening, let me assure you they hardly got out of the starting blocks in the first-half. Hull's CB's were statuesque at times giving the Gunner's ample time for interplay. The first-half was almost like shooting practice at times.
There was some improvement after the break but the points were already wrapped up by the interval.

...statue-like that should have read! They were hardly flattering.
