He was written of in the Championship and written off in the premiership.
But in both seasons those of us who could see his potential as did the manager stuck with him. It has taken a shorter time to settle this season than it did when he came and to all those who wanted to sell him how much do you value our James Vardy now.
Go on my son have that party and thank you what ever happens you gave it large
So pleased for my man.

Hope he recovers from the knocks for next Saturday. He's proving to be an absolute menace to opposing defences at present.

When I first saw the title I thought you were going to be talking about Konchesky.
Or Kasper.
But Vardy has been excellent of late. It seems he's worked out this division a bit, perhaps found some confidence and has been a vital element of our recent recovery. I'm sure he will be back for next week.

I hope you can now show the same kind of faith in Kasper Nev. It looks like you've been wrong on him

I thought he was talking about our Nigel.

Sorry BS i still think kasper would not be our first choice keeper next season. The good thing about playing three at the back he is not getting tested so much with crosses as we have a spare centre half to deal with it and Yesterday he has time to read a book and have a cup of tea Newcastle where so carp.
Tha'ts not to take away from his great shot stopping ability and his distribution that again he showed yesterday and his crucial role he is playing now.
But unlike Vardy i believe kasper is not going to get any better than he is now.
As for konch this for me is a position we need a replacement for and despite my support for him i would like a better player in that position.
The fact that Newcastle players targeting him hoping to injure him shows what a threat he is.

Nev do you really think Kasper won't improve? He's still young for a goal keeper so I'm pretty sure he's still got time to improve on certain aspects of his game.
We're looking solid at the back now and he has been an important part of that. I fully expect him to be here next season because I reckon we'll sign enough quality players in the summer for him to want to stay. There's no doubt he really likes it here so why leave? Pearson won't want to let him go that's for sure.
As for Vardy, he has hit form but we're playing to his strengths now. I remember him running around chasing everything at Liverpool but getting no joy because he was up front on his own. It's not like he's working any harder, he's just got the opportunity to play his game now and he's devastating.
Only the best defenders in the league can deal with his pace because only they're good enough to position themselves and read the game well enough to deal with him. His energy also lifts the rest of the team, he's absolutely vital right now. If he carries on playing like this and grabs a couple more goals, there might be talk or Roy coming knocking again.,

To be fair to Nev on this, it's hard to see how Kasper can improve - it's just that Nev underrates him in the first place. His shot-stopping is excellent, but it's hard to see how his aerial ability is going to improve - he's simply not a big goalkeeper.

Being a short arsenal keeper myself i know how hard it is to intimidate and dominate your box. I did it to my best ability with the sort of mad aggressive action that would make opposition strikers think twice or so i hoped.
Kasper does not have his dads presence and still imo won't scale the heights his dad did. Do not take away from him his skills but don't mistake the longevity of a keepers career with continued improvement.
This has been weekness like this for years even having Hamer briefly challenging him has not changed this aspect of his game.
He is a key part of keeping us up as where Hamers clean sheets when he played.
